Christopher's British Bistro - Restaurant, nestled in Tamworth, is a treasure for those seeking classic British cuisine with a contemporary twist. Frequent diners rave about their hearty offerings, like the mouthwatering Venison Burger and the famous Sausage 'n' Egg baps that need no accompaniment. The food consistently impresses, with Judy Parkes praising the restaurant for its phenomenal service and entertaining comedy nights, turning dining into a vibrant social experience.
Another highlight comes from Sarah Brooks, who champions their Sunday carry-away meals, emphasizing the richness of their gravy and the exquisite sticky toffee pudding that leaves a lasting impression. Had a truly wonderful night at the Thursday comedy night hosted by Jules O'Brian. Hilarious comedians.. Christopher's were wonderful hosts, great friendly staff. The Venison Burger was to die for- but the food is always excellent there. Well done Christopher's at the Peel- A top night out!!

Just had what was probably one of the best Sausage 'n' Egg baps I've had in a long time. You know it's excellent when it doesn't require any ketchup. Anyway, my first visit here (Breakfast networking meeting) and the venue is delightful as is the service. Now I'm aware of its existence, I'll definitely be returning to try out some of their other fare.

We have recently tried the Sunday carry-away from Christopher Tamworth, and they are an absolute delight! The food is worth every penny, and the taste was amazing. The gravy was so good that you could practically drink it straight from the pot. And I can’t forget to mention that their sticky toffee pudding is the best I’ve ever had. The quality and flavours exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend giving their Sunday dinners and puddings a try; you won’t be disappointed!

We had tapas here last night and tbh it was equal or better than many of the tapas we have had in Spain , Balearics & Canaries ... we probably ordered one too many dishes but that aside they were all cooked to perfection and delicious. Staff are all really nice and the chef/s produce some lively food plus at the bar there is a great selection of drinks ( for the guys I'd recommend a pint of the " level head " ) Highly recommended

Class is a glass, or in my case a mug. The menu options look, as a eloquent friend of mine would say, simply amazing. I’ll be back in the near future to sample its culinary choices.

We visited Christophers as a very large party for our sons 18th birthday. There were 28 people in our party. The staff were very helpful in the lead up to the event and always quick to respond to my queries. On the evening the staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The restaurant was clean and the food, which we had preordered, arrived quickly, and was hot and tasty. They brought the children's meals out with our starters and catered for a vegan member in our party. Nobody had any complaints! There was also a great range of drinks available. We took up most of the restaurant and the atmosphere was very relaxed. Paying the bill was nice and easy too as they’d prepared the bill from our preorder. All in all we had a fantastic time. It was our first visit to Christophers and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

Lovely valentine's meal with my Fiancee, food and service were excellent. Only improvements could be environment, dimmer lighting with large candle and a real fire in the fireplace instead of decor would make it perfect! Thanks all!

Truely wonderful properly cooked food in a relaxed environment. All dishes we tried were excellent but the garlic prawn starter and the venison were standouts. And anywhere that does a great bread and butter pudding is alright by me. Good wine too. The unobtrusive live music was a bonus. The only improvement that could make is to move away from green king beers and have some offerings from local breweries. May well go back for breakfast...
